Program Educational Objectives

Courses Offered
PE112 ( Physical Education I )
This course involves the study of concepts and skills in physical education and
physical fitness. It dwells on the nature, objectives and importance of physical
education and fitness as an integral part of the total human development. Specifically,
it includes conditioning exercises, dancercise, taebo, yoga, stunts and gymnastic
exercise with the use of apparatus.
PE122 ( Physical Education II )
This course involves the study of concept and skills in dance, martial arts and
board games. Specifically, it includes folk dancing and ballroom dancing, Filipino
martial arts like arnis, escrima or kali and board games such as chess, games of the
general and others.
PE132 ( Physical Education III )
This course involves the study of the concepts, rules of individual/dual sport
and group games. It includes the study of the concepts and skills and the rules and
regulations governing badminton, table tennis, darts, track and field events for
athletes and group games with aesthetic and social values.
PE142 ( Physical Education IV )
This course involves the study of the history, fundamentals skills, rules and
regulations governing the team sport of basketball and volleyball with emphasis on
the assimilation of emotional and social values.
